The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of one Developer Analyst, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of ITSAC Developer Analyst 3 Category, Emerging Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). 
            All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire” and are the property of the DPS.  DPS may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. DPS will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s).
             Assist with infrastructure upgrade of major DPS application.  Application components include Java, Weblogic, DB2, Apache, Tivoli Workload Scheduler, Cisco CSS.  Upgrade will include move from 32- to 64-bit virtual platforms, CSS to F5, Weblogic to Tomcat, IE11 compatibility.  Targeted releases:  Redhat 6; Tomcat 8; Apache HTTPD 2.2.  Upgrades to production and non-production environments.
