This position provides Microsoft Windows server administration and support

This position provides Microsoft Windows server administration and support for enterprise-level services in the hosted environment. This environment hosts hundreds of physical and virtual servers and supports functions and business-critical services for executive branch agencies. Responsibilities include Configuration, installation, and maintenance of enterprise Windows-based physical and virtual servers Configuration, installation, and maintenance of enterprise VMware-based virtual environment User account management for multiple state agencies in Active Directory. Set up folder structure and manage access controls (file security permissions) for customer agency file services. Support print server functions Problem resolution, and support for customers Recommend and implement system tuning, security and configuration changes Coordinate and perform installations, upgrades, migrations Adhere to defined incident/change management process Regular communication with other technical teams and business owners Work with customers to develop testing and implementation schedules as needed Maintain technical documentation to reflect changes to the environment
