I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of one Developer Analyst, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of ITSAC Developer Analyst 2 Category, Emerging Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) Child Support Division.

All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire and are the property of the OAG. OAG may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. OAG will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s).

The Web Application Build and Deploy analyst performs highly advanced systems analysis to plan, create, and execute build and deployment activities of code. This includes creating an automated build process using Rational Build Forge, Maven, ANT and PERL scripts. This position coordinates deployments with a 3rd party vendor, the agency's Data Services Contract vendor, and other agency points of contact. This position is responsible for maintaining the detailed Deployment Plan for software releases. Work is accomplished in a highly collaborative environment and independently with a focus on quality and customer service. Works under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment

WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
5 Experience in creating build and deploy scripts and processes using a combination of Build Forge, Ant, Maven, and other scripting languages.
5 Experience in build and deployment on Websphere runtime, including Websphere Application Server (WAS), Process Server, and Portal Server.
5 Experience in Software Configuration Management and Change Management
5 Knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies
5 Experience and skill in analyzing business requirements, developing new and revising existing computer programs and systems; executing unit test procedures; and producing required program and project documentation
5 Experience in performing formal peer reviews and validations and providing written feedback
5 Extensive skill in effective verbal and written communications with other computer professionals and clients.
5 Ability to analyze and problem solve
5 Ability to work in a team environment and independently
5 Ability to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with others at all times in the course and scope of conducting business
