The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of one Developer Analyst, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of ITSAC Developer Analyst 2 Category, Emerging Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the Office of the Attorney General (OAG)
            All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire” and are the property of the OAG.  OAG may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. OAG will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s).
The Virtual Case File developer performs highly advanced systems analysis and design of Electronic Content Management systems using the EMC suite of tools.  This position is responsible for analyzing business requirements and leading the development of software designs and coding.  Reviews the design of solution(s) prepared by 3rd party vendor to ensure that all requirements are addressed.  Manages and oversees the design activities of a design team.  May develop and test complex programming code.  Acts as the technical project lead and is a subject matter expert.  Assists other team members in preforming analysis, design, code, and test.  Assists customers with developing consumable business requirements.  Produces accurate time estimates for technical solutions; recommends technical solutions and resolves issues.   Acts as a mentor and advisor to other team members.  Work is accomplished in a highly collaborative environment and independently with a focus on quality and customer service.  Works under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
            Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
5 Experience in designing and developing solutions for imaging platforms using EMC Captiva InputAccel v6.x/v7.x, Dispatcher, OCR/ICR, Advanced Recognition, developing with Visual Basic, VBscript and using web services with InputAccel
5 Experience with Captiva module configurations, ScanPlus, IndexPlus, and Documentum Advanced Export
5 Experience with Captiva IPP VBA scripting
5 Experience and skill in analyzing business requirements, developing new and revising existing computer programs and systems; executing unit test procedures; and producing required program and project documentation
5 Experience in performing formal peer reviews and validations and providing written feedback
5 Extensive skill in effective verbal and written communications with other computer professionals and clients.
5 Ability to analyze and problem solve
5 Ability to work in a team environment and independently
5 Ability to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with others at all times in the course and scope of conducting business
3 Experience developing Captiva reports
3 Experience with SQL and ODBC
3 Experience with Documentum
