Position: Technical Business Analyst
Department: The State of Utah Department of Technology Services
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Duration : Full Time

This is a full time position located on site in Salt Lake City, Utah. The selected candidate must be able to begin work Monday, April 21, 2014. It is anticipated this position will last for at least 3 years.
Successful candidate must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Candidate should have the following skills to apply for the position:
Proven experience representing high-level business cases on behalf of contract business analysts
Demonstrated experience with lead business processes, and business analysis in a timely manner
Demonstrated experience gathering, documents, and representing business requirements and business processes
Proven experience facilitating issues, risks, resolutions regarding business requirements and design
Experience with estimating time and resource requirements accurately, delivering in accordance. Tracking & monitoring work plan tasks and assignments per work plan.
Demonstrated experience with organization, leadership, decision making, and communication with strong team orientation.
Proven experience leading business analysts and or development teams, including delegating as well as performing hands on analysis and design.
Demonstrated skills with Business Analyst responsibilities
Advanced knowledge of, and experience with software development methodologies, design and implementation
Minimum 5 years of experience with support services case management software development
Minimum 5 years of business knowledge and experience with Job Seeker and Employer Labor Exchange software development.
5 Years of experience with the Department of Workforce Services UWORKS system.

The following experience would be desirable:
  • Experience with Workforce development business functions
  • Experience with Job Seeker and Employer systems in Utah
