Tax - Help Desk Tech/Asset Management Admin

Department of Taxation is looking for a Technician/Asset Management Admin to assist with a major PC refresh initiative.

Perform software and hardware support on MS Windows 10 platform
Perform data transfers for customers and install local printers and drivers. Provide troubleshooting/resolution steps as needed
End user Software installation and monitoring using SCCM
Act as a liaison with Customers, Computer Technicians and Project Lead regarding installing software on customers computers
Strong understanding of software licensing concepts and end user licensing agreements
Strong knowledge of industry best practices related to hardware and software asset management
Perform/oversee physical inventory counts at all office locations
Maintain up to date records and inventory on all IT assets
Experience in effective monitoring of desktop and server software to include full reconciliation of monitored software titles.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Work in a team environment and working with multiple business units in a specific platform environment.

IT Hardware Asset Management, Inventory (electronic and physical), and network discovery administration Required 2 Years
Software auditing and compliance Required 2 Years
Microsoft Access and Microsoft T-SQL (developing queries and reports) Required 2 Years
Workstation/laptop hardware and peripherals support and installation Required 2 Years
End user Software installation using SCCM Highly desired 1 Years
Experience supporting windows 7 and 10 Required 2 Years
