Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Laboratory Maintenance Technician to join our team working onsite at our client's office located in King of Prussia, PA.

Job Title: Laboratory Maintenance Technician
Work Location: King of Prussia, PA
Duration: 3+ month contract with option to extend
Education/Experience Required: High school diploma or GED

Job Description & Responsibilities:
  • Diagnoses and repairs Laboratory equipment including preventative maintenance, calibrations and installations.
  • Troubleshoots customer-related problems, determines repair needs and parts requirements.
  • Maintains positive customer communication by utilizing service reports, referrals, warranty information.
  • Completes all paperwork and submits in a timely manner.
  • High level of attention to detail for the review of paperwork.
  • No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.
  • Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.
  • Errors in judgment may cause short and/or long term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of High School Diploma/GED required AND one of the following:
  1. Military experience in a technical field or other equivalent formal training in maintaining electronics or medical equipment
  2. Minimum of an Associate's degree in Electronics or Mechanical Principles
  3. Minimum of four years' experience performing troubleshooting and planned maintenance on basic biomedical equipment following current standards, code and procedures to ensure safe and effective operation of those devices.
  • Proficiency in completing electronic documentation using computer.
  • Previous experience developing and maintaining good customer relations.
  • Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook.
  • Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
