Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a Web Designer to join our team working onsite at our client's office located in Bedford, TX.

Daystar knows it's important now more than ever to take advantage of this current revolution in television because people are freer to find programming that matters to them without being tethered to a chord. Now we can touch even more lives by utilizing this incredible opportunity.
Through the creative use of the web, apps, and new technology, the director of new media will spearhead daystar's endeavors to reach the world through these exciting platforms. He or she will work together with various departments within the network to help the reach of our new media continue to grow and adapt. Day to Day activities:
  • To assist in developing and maintaining WordPress websites, e-commerce websites, custom sites, and email marketing campaigns
  • To learn new technologies as they pertain to my day-to-day duties
  • To test and troubleshoot pages on multiple browsers and platforms
  • To drive web traffic with consistent content and message targeting
  • To work with the marketing team to ensure daystar.com goals are met
  • To monitor and maintain quality and performance standards
  • To build and maintain the Daystar television brand online via daystar.com

  • Able to adapt quickly to new technologies
  • Capable of assisting in the development and maintenance of WordPress websites, e-commerce sites, custom sites and email marketing campaigns.
  • Able to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and work well under tight deadlines
  • Capable of exhibiting a sense of urgency – with specific regard to monitoring, prioritizing and responding in near real-time
  • Prompt and can maintain satisfactory attendance, including timeliness
  • A life-long learner who keeps up with the latest trends and innovations in web design
  • A dedicated follower of Jesus Christ who wants to join a ministry with a heart for the world
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • An associate's degree or higher in web design or related field
  • Front-end experience with html, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript
  • PHP experience (a plus)
  • Understanding of web standards and best practices
  • Familiarity with current and emerging technologies, such as mobile / responsive design
  • A portfolio demonstrating both graphic design principles and technical expertise
