Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a Fuel Supply Analyst to join our team working onsite at our client's office located in Houston, TX

Duration: 4-8 months with option to hire
Openings: Four (4)

General Summary
The Fuel Supply Analyst will support UVair PTF implementation. This position will be responsible for providing fuel rate data for all international and domestic locations. The analyst will be required to understand the basic platform of PTF in order to meet the job requirement. This position is responsible for getting data to PTF and performs tests to ensure the Fuel Supply costs in PFT are the same as those on Oracle.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ability to learn about PTF and it functionality.
  • Enter historical fuel rate data into PTF to ensure integration of PTF to CAPPS.
  • Will work closely with Sr. Fuel Analyst to ensure data integrity.
  • Perform audit function to ensure accuracy of data.
  • Monitor global currency markets and apply FX rates as needed.
  • Ability to convert foreign currency.
  • Basic understanding of Platt's and its application.
  • Provide back up for preparation for PTF data.
  • Require a complete understanding of taxes and fee application.
  • Perform other tasks as needed.
Knowledge and Skill Requirement
  • Associated degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years working experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
  • Basic knowledge of the multiple factors that affect international pricing such as formula types, units of measure, foreign currency, fees, taxes.
  • Ability to discern and extract pertinent data from a variety of formats and enter into spreadsheets/data bases.
  • Detailed oriented with a high level of accurate data entry skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to maintain focus on specific tasks to build and achieve overall goals and schedules.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle database helpful.
  • Must be customer focused, goal-oriented, proactive and flexible.
  • Must be able to effectively balance completing time demands.
  • Effective customer service skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, motivated and able to set own priorities and daily activity requirements under minimum supervision.
  • Punctuality and attendance are vital to the position.
  • Must exhibit positive teamwork attributes, a strong work ethic and the willingness to embrace change with a positive attitude.
