Shift: DAYS

Education: BS in health field, epidemiology, microbiology or public health
License ca ASCP Certification, Registration

Certification in Infection Control (CIC) required within 2 years of hire. Reports directly to Margaret. They are seeking someone with Infection Prevention Experience. Will have a PT Coordinator who is shared with another location.
Focus on reducing harm and infection prevention Coordinate w Infectious Disease Leader /Staff

Requirements:
  • Infectious Disease Prevention Experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of leadership experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology, epidemiology, microbiology, public health, or related.
  •  
  • Current Certification in Infection Control (CIC) within 2 years of hire.
Preferred:
  • and/or Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Master's Degree.
A mid-sized facility in the California Bay area is seeking an exceptional leader with strong experience in Infectious Disease Prevention and Management in an acute care facility, to lead a team of specialists in education and prevention of infectious diseases.
