ThisHVAC Chiller Mechanicwillmonitor facilities equipment within our Industrial and Manufacturing work environment for proper operation with the goal of maintaining a high-level of reliability, peak efficiency, and strict adherence to all regulatory requirements

  • Repair and continually improve all aspects of the plant's mechanical and utility systems.
  • Comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Ensure operation of facility machinery & mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements following diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, and evaluating new equipment & techniques.
  • Document actions by completing maintenance logs and checklists
  • Work closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is correct and complete.
  • Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems using precision measuring tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with company procedures, rules and regulations, and report any dangerous situations or malfunction of equipment.

  • EPA 608 Certification
  • Testing & Air Balancing
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing and making repairs to a large variety of equipment and systems that provide a variety of air-conditioning functions, such as heating, cooling, humidification, dehumidification and air cleaning, filtering, circulation and pressurization
  • Knowledge of components of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment (e.g., refrigerant, compressor, condenser coil, expansion valve, evaporator coil) to assess HVAC operation and repair malfunctioning systems.
  • HVAC Controls, Direct Digital Control,Building Management System,
  • Chillers - repair, maintain including and manage treatment water program
  • High Pressure Boilers & Steam Delivery

  • 5+ years of HVAC mechanical troubleshooting experience
  • 3+ years in a maintenance/manufacturing environment
  • Technical School Certification
  • Valid license with Refrigerants and Cooling Equipment andRefrigerant Recovery and Recycling Equipment Certification
  • Proven ability to communicate orally and in writing with management, peers, project team members, and vendors
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision maintain proper documentation
  • Computer Skills - CMMS, SCADA/HMI, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to use written reference materials refers to the ability to locate, read, and comprehend text material such as handbooks, manuals, bulletins, directives, checklists, and route sheets
  • Ability to communicate in writing refers to transmitting written information (e.g., equipment status, recommended repairs) to maintenance, operations, and other personnel.
  • Ability to communicate orally refers to receiving and transmitting oral information (such as equipment status, recommended repairs or modifications, parts usage, and technical procedures) to and from maintenance, production, and other departments.
