As Build/Release Engineer, you will:
Contribute to technical discussions as an experienced practitioner
Recommend and implement new tools and techniques in relevant areas.
Work with the development teams to setup new repos and build pipelines
Work with DevOps and Software Engineers to improve deploy predictability and quality
Work with QA and Software Engineers to drive better unit and integration coverage of build pipelines
Be Responsible for care and feeding of build systems and tools
Experience Requirement
This position requires at least 4 years of experience in build and release engineering.
Skills
Ideal candidates will have familiarity with some combination of the key technologies and tools that we use every day. While knowledge of our technologies is important, we consider knowledge of similar technologies a worthy substitute. We do not require proficiency with everything on this list:
Database & Search: PostgreSQL, Solr
Build Automation: bash, sbt, webpack, Bamboo
Tools & Infrastructure: JIRA, Crucible+Fisheye, git, nexus

The group creates its HTML5 applications for all platforms, with mobile targets being tablets more than phones.
