Required Skills Set:
The responsibilities for this position may include some or all of the following: › Supervise staff members and delegate work loads › Strictly adhere to established departmental accounting processing procedures and controls › Serve as client operational contact and maintain good relationship with client › Review partners' capital activity for commitments, contributions, distributions, multiple closings, and transfers; including preparation of capital call letters and distribution notification letters › Utilize and interpret the legal documentation for private equity funds as it applies to maintaining partner capital accounts; including the allocation of income, multiple closings, management fee and carried interest calculations, etc. › Calculate performance measures on partner, partnership basis, and partnership-portfolio basis for reporting purposes › Calculate closing interest, management fee and carried interest by partner › Gain an in-depth understanding of partnership accounting, and more specifically the system(s) we use for processing › Calculation of carried interest per the funds governing documents Prepare year end financials and side in the facilitation of the audit process Meet client valuation and reporting deliverables › Prepare ad-hoc reports and other deliverables › Resolve problems and errors on a timely basis (with documentation) › Gain a comprehensive understanding of private equity structures › Support department leader with continuous improvement initiatives and ongoing establishment and maintenance of procedures as needed › Assist in and discuss employees' performance appraisals
Years of Experience: 2
Education Required: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
Additional Preferred Skills:
› BS/BA degree in accounting, business, finance or related field, or the equivalent in education and work experience
› Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience and knowledge of the fund services industry
› Willingness to learn new systems, concepts and broaden knowledge in the industry
› Individual who takes initiative & ownership of assigned responsibilities
› Detail oriented
› Strong organizational and time-management skills
› Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
› Team Player
› Strong aptitude for numbers
› Knowledge and expertise of Investran, Investier, and Geneva Advent systems is highly desired

The Private Equity Supervisor in the alternative investment department is responsible for the successful and accurate completion of the accounting, administrative and investor servicing requirements for various alternative products and structures for assigned funds. This individual must also strictly adhere to established departmental policies and procedures required to service alternative funds.
Physical Environment and Working Conditions:
5 days a week in office, green campus, gym on site, etc.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.
