EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Production Management.
  • Strong ERP System experience required, Syteline preferred.
  • Inventory Management knowledge preferred.
  • College or Technical School Degree preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word software.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 quality control system procedures and requirements.
  • Certified in TIG, MIG, SMAW, and Flux-Core welding techniques, and the ability to inspect the same.
  • Ability to view, print, read, and understand technical drawings and documentation.
NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:
  • Direct, coordinate, and supervise all second shift operations including planning, scheduling, material and inventory control, fabrication, production, training, maintenance, and the timely delivery of Company products to achieve Company objectives at the lowest cost consistent with quality requirements.
  • Supervise all hourly second shift Production and Maintenance employees at the Plant.
  • Assist in managing the finished goods inventory at the Plant.
  • Work with Plant Manager to plan and implement short term and long term manufacturing, maintenance, and capital improvement objectives at the Plant.
  • Coordinate production requirements and customer order status with Plant Production, Purchasing, Sales, Transportation, and Engineering employees.
  • Prepare reports as required to document Plant activities, Production output, and finished goods inventory.
  • Performing welding tasks on products as needed to achieve required customer delivery dates.
  • Manage, arrange, or perform all necessary day-to-day tasks required for continuous Plant operation.
