Job Summary
Selling Branch Manager oversee the daily operations of a team working at a staffing agency. They create long-term strategies for their organization, and are responsible for hiring, training, and guiding a team. They set staffing targets and then assist the staff in achieving them.  The Selling Branch Manager is a combination of sales and operational responsibilities.
  • Responsible for preforming sales, business development, account management and customer services activities to new, existing and prospective clients.
  • Execute effective business development activities including: sourcing and qualifying clients, identifying decision makers, establishing client relationships, mentoring & building relationships with internal staff, identifying cross-selling opportunities and scheduling client visits.
  • Responsible for selling staffing solutions to prospective clients in need of Engineering & Information Technology professionals for temporary, temp-to-hire and direct hire assistance.
  • Responsible for generating new business each year.
  • Responsible for mentoring staff to close deals.
  • Ensure that all financial performance goals are met.
  • They oversee the attainment of budgeted sales and profit goals through business development and growth of the customer base.
  • Effectively create daily call plan or action plan to help accomplish activity expectations.
  • Maintain accurate and current profiles in JobDiva on all current and targeted potential clients.
  • Keep current on competitor/ market knowledge.
  • Consistently monitor candidate pool relating to competitive salaries in local market.
  • Negotiate bill rates to maintain gross profit
  • Maintain minimum standard performance measures including weekly activity requirements for connects, interviews and leads, as well as established monetary productivity requirements.
  • Ensure company policy, as well as federal and state employment law compliance.
  • Solicit opportunities to speak before professional organizations and business groups.
  • Prepare and appropriately document sales reports for all weekly sales activity, market and competitor information and business and market trends.
  • Define targeted companies and forecast semi-annual projections.
  • Tour client facilities in order to gain full understanding of clients' goals and objectives.
  • Formal Education: College degree
  • Skills:
    • Familiar with PC-based systems
    • Excellent verbal and written communications
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Excellent problem solving and motivational skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively
    • Working knowledge of employment law
    • A Proven history of meeting/exceeding sales quota and objectives
  • Experience:
    • 5-10 years' experience in Staffing or Sales
