AutoCad Drafter/Designer

Company will look at candidates who have AutoCad and Mechanical or Architectural product drafting design experience.
Job Description and Job Duties: Produces design, detail layouts and drawings of Architectural Metal and Sheet metal cladding products for buildings requiring advanced mathematical and/or engineering principles. Works from instructions given by supervisor. Works with some independence, and work is reviewed for content and accuracy upon completion. Performs but is not limited to the following specific tasks with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Create and edit manufacturing Detail Drawings
Create and edit Bills of Materials and Packing Lists
Maintain engineering document control system
Create and edit manufacturing Detail Spreadsheets
Check and review Detail Drawings, Detail Spreadsheets, and Bills of Materials
All other responsibilities assigned by management.

Qualifications - Education, Experience, and/or Training:
Some technical education specific to CAD, associate degree or equivalent, or 3-5 years of drafting practices with AutoCAD.
Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
Ability to work on multiple projects.
Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills to interface with all levels of personnel.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
