MUST:
Sr. Systems Linux Engineer
5 - 10 + years experience as a Sr. Systems Engineer with Linux Administration
Experience in enterprise architect, systems management, administration of experience in a complex and enterprise environments
Knowledge/experience with DIACAP and NISPOM Information Assurance requirements, as well as knowledge of the DoD Vulnerability Management System (VMS) and IA Vulnerability Management Process (IAVM)
Strong written and oral communication skills; Strong organizational and leadership skills.
High Level of expertise with classified system administration and crypto devices.
Certified in two or more ((VMware VCP, RHCE, RHCVA, MCITP, MCSE, UPUX, Cisco CCN, Linux LPIC2, Sun Certified SCNA, E20-016 Storage Networking Design, among others and will be required to participate and certify as directed in the DoD Directive 8570.)
Security+ CE is required at a minimum
Must be able to pass a background check

DUTIES:
Senior Systems Engineer; the ideal candidate will have strong supervisory and/or team lead experience, a technical background in Linux administration with at least 1-2 recognized Linux certifications.
Conduct requirements reviews on new infrastructure system proposals.
Identify application support and technical infrastructure enhancements.
Maintain inventory architecture and baseline inventory documentation.
Updates planning models and provide direction on enterprise life-cycle plans.
Develop Host/Server Operating System upgrading and new migration strategies.
Create LUN's for systems based upon requirements as provided in the build document.
Maintain performance through remediation of hot spots on storage arrays.
Manage the installation of new storage arrays, disks, and SAN switches.
Performs weekly status checks to validate that the storage systems are not being under/over utilized in SAN fabric capabilities, array capabilities.
Provide high-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff.
Develop architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines.
Manage the installation of new storage arrays, disks, and SAN switches.
Administers and supports the current VM infrastructure
Develop policy and procedures for standardization across the entire data-center system base.
Provides support and guidance to Systems administrators
Provides support and guidance to the Backup administrators
