Technical Program Specialist

MUST:
Experienced Technical Program Specialist
5+ years of experience in program administration, to include data management, grant management/compliance, outreach, and/or project management in higher education, adult education or non-profit environments
Database management experience (Access database preferred)
Successful history of managing relationships and partnerships
Expertise with Microsoft Office software including Excel and Access; Expertise with File Maker Pro; Knowledge in Black Board & People Soft
Ability to work independently and within project teams on outcomes-driven projects
Ability to communicate and motivate others effectively in person and in writing
Perform quantitative and narrative reporting and project evaluation
Ability to analyze and evaluate participant outcomes data and employer workforce challenges and develop effective solutions
Maintain high productivity level and capability to multi-task in fast-paced operating environment Ability to travel locally via personal automobile and work occasional nights and weekends. Assisting in replacing legacy applications currently being used within the enterprise with a more scalable solution aimed at improving the client's business operations by eliminating inefficient business processes and workarounds.
Bachelor's Degree preferred


DUTIES:
The position reports to the Director and coordinates non-student services-related ACP functions to include project management, data management, grant reporting and compliance, purchasing, and event planning. This position has direct responsibility over ACP data management systems and metrics, including program-wide data collection, calculation, and reporting of initiative and grant-related outcomes. Management and tracking of program and partner outreach activities and events. Development of project plans with internal and external stakeholders to include business, community-based non-profit and government human service agency partners. Coordination of ACP grant functions, including grant-writing, reporting and compliance.
