MUST:
Experienced Registered Nurse
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, MSN preferred
5 years of nursing experience, preferably in the community health setting
A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
A passion for serving a disadvantaged population

DUTIES: Registered Nurse
The Clinical Manager is responsible and accountable for health center clinical operations, and programs, working collaboratively as a part of the center leadership triad with the Center Medical Director and Administrator/Office Manager to provide safe, high quality, effective and efficient medical care.
The CM is responsible for ensuring high quality, evidence-based patient care for their patient population through specialty and primary care home model in an effective and efficient manner.
Utilizing reporting tools and tracking as well as observation, the CM monitors patient volumes, quality of care, and performance of staff to identify areas for improvement and enact changes to achieve that improvement as
appropriate.
The CM is the functional authority for nursing and medical assistant duties, monitoring their practice
and ensuring personnel are appropriately trained and qualified for their duties and that they are performing their care in accordance with standards and policies for their profession and the organization.
As a clinical nurse, the CM is capable of performing the duties of the Charge and Clinical Care nurses in case staffing needs warrant.
Actively supervises clinical support staff in a way that facilitates increased patient throughput.
Creates/ develops clinical leaders through mentoring and by example.
Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations for expense management, improved patient flow and other center processes.
Sees through approval, implementation and evaluation stages.
Acts as a role model for clinical support staff in providing excellent customer service.
Completes performance appraisals thoroughly and on time.
Works collaboratively with the Center Medical Director and Office Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of the center.
Oversees clinical schedule to ensure adequate coverage. Ensures clinical resources are scheduled appropriately. Collects, ensures accuracy of and approves timesheets from staff.
