Mobile Applications Developer

MUST:
Experienced Mobile Applications Developer -- modernization experience required
10 years overall professional IT experience is required
5+ years in Mobile Applications Development is required
Must be proficient with the following: C++, C#, Java, Objective-C, and MVC
Xamarim experience is preferred
Emphasis will be on smartphones and tablets.
They also work closely with computer analysts and engineers in applying the various languages for creating and developing the mobile apps.
Experience building and managing APIs for federal agencies and developing conceptual frameworks.
Candidate must have Mathematical aptitude with a drive to keep up with developments and trends in the tech and modern media world.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Studies or a discipline related to the work required from an accredited college or university.
A current technical certification of Security+ CE is required(or will need to complete within 2 months of start date.)
Active Secret clearance is required


DUTIES:
This position serves as a Software Developer development efforts primarily focused on the design, development and deployment of mobile applications on various platforms.
Software development will also include design of and deployment to Windows and/or Linux based systems.
Responsible for conduct of requirements analyses, development of functional and software specifications, coding, testing and deploying software.
Research current and future mobile technology trends to ensure the team is working effectively and efficiently and will serve as a mentor to other team members.
Works with team of developers, assigns priorities, obtains resources and monitors performance to ensure development and sustainment processes are in compliance with Capability Maturity Model (CMM) methodologies as needed to create proper versioning and repeatable builds of all business applications to ensure proper documentation of features and fixes are available to the user community.
Application development in a team environment that includes the user community, the database administrators, the web designers, and the systems/network engineers for optimal application design and performance of applications.
This includes the coordination of software releases.
Mentors team members in development technologies, CMM, and Object Oriented Programming/Design. Assist in enhancement of government software.
Participates in meetings with end-users, prepares and conducts briefings and prepares technical papers as required.
Maintain expertise in all technologies and component software of government business applications.
Perform other duties as assigned.
