Experienced SQL Server Engineer DBA
10+ years of combined financial management and systems database engineering experience

Experience with transferring databases from Microsoft Access to SQL Server
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (highly preferred)
Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) preferred
Experience with AWS preferred
Bachelors degree preferred
Maintain the moderately complex database by ensuring access methods, access time, devise allocation, validation checks, data protection and security, documentation, and statistical reporting
Apply knowledge and experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end (e.g., COGNOS)/back-end programming languages (e.g., SQL)
Design, create, and assist the Government in implementing a CLAN SQL Server database using the current CLAN Microsoft Access database
Integrate Budget, Human Resource Management, Contracts Management, Personnel Security Management, and Requirements Management into one system through database design
Project long-range requirements for database administration and design in conjunction with other managers in the information systems function
Provide maintenance of database dictionaries, overall monitoring of standards and procedures, file design and storage, and integration of systems through database design
Provide customers with commercially available IT (SQL server/AWS)products, and create requirements that will allow implementation by the architecture and engineering team
Integrate the IT solution with the Human Resource Table of Organization (TO) and Security databases
