3-5 years' experience managing teams

Identify and mitigate risks to the project, and escalate program risks, as necessary
Communicates effectively with all levels of the organization
Sees change as an opportunity; adapts quickly to change, and maintains proficiency in changing work environments
Ability to travel locally in the Maryland, DC and VA area and occasionally out of state when needed.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Business or a related field. 5 years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
Ability to obtain a US Secret clearance or higher

This position spends up to 70% of the time at client locations in the DC Metropolitan area, meeting with employees and clients to ensure employee and customer/client satisfaction through meaningful engagement.
Assist with management oversight and direction of a large/diverse workforce, staff morale and productivity, contract awareness, staff utilization, recruiting, and overall administrative management of diverse functional areas.
Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
Proactively management employee performance and conduct annual reviews as required.
Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
Direct program activities to meet client and organization work objectives and serves as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.
Assure quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits.
Prepares and provides routine progress reports to management.
Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
Establish goals, plans, and milestones to meet overall program, client, and corporate objectives and clearly and effectively communicate these to the entire staff.
Develops and executes a comprehensive communication plan
Challenge others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and inspires team members to attain goals and pursue delivery excellence.
