MUST:
Experienced Physical Therapist
1 plus years of experience
Must be a Certified Physical Therapist, a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and/or hold a Masters in Physical Therapy
Must have a current CPR certification
Must have a background in Orthopedics and/or Sports Medicine

DUTIES:
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Advance practical knowledge of physical therapy
Plan, coordinate, and implement goal-oriented group
Instruct and apply the use of therapeutic modalities and new integrative techniques and technologies
Design, fabricate, or recommend adaptive equipment
Assess patient health by interviewing patients
Perform physical examinations
Obtain, update, and study therapy histories
Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records

Meets the patient's goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining physical therapy treatment plans
Helps patient accomplish treatment plan and accept therapeutic devices by administering manual exercises; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities and in using assistive and supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses
Administers physical therapy treatments by giving massages; initiating traction; applying physical agents; utilizing hydrotherapy tanks and whirlpool baths, moist packs, ultraviolet and infrared lamps, and ultrasound machines; directing treatments given by aides, technicians, and assistants
