Contracts – Contracts Administrator
Reston, VA/Remote Options
5- 7yrs. related experience in government contracts administration/management, demonstrating increased responsibility
Experience with and strong working knowledge of FAR and DFARS required
Experience managing a variety of contract types including FFP, FFP-LOE, CPFF, CPAF required
Experience in managing and executing government contracts required
Experience in handling a high volume of proposal submissions required
Experience in performing cradle-to-grave contract administration.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
Experienced in proposal activity support, ensuring compliance with the solicitation requirements, company internal objectives and processes, and writing cover letters and risk mitigating assumptions, preparing administrative and business/cost volumes
Reviews and negotiates terms and conditions for different types of contractual agreements – Non-Disclosure, Teaming and Subcontract agreements
Prepares and disseminates information throughout the company regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination
Experiences with GSA e-buy procurements, and Government websites to include CPARS and SAM
Collaborates and coordinates across departments of Program Management, Billing, Finance, Pricing and Compliance
The Contracts Administrator will report to the CFO and is responsible for administration and monitoring of contract performance on government prime contracts and subcontracts.
Assist in all aspects of contract administration to include proposal activity (capture, pre-RFP & post-delivery), negotiating changes to existing contracts and subcontracts, reporting and closeout activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and executing government contracts, including DoD contracts, as well as in federal acquisition regulations, contract requirements, and other legal requirements for doing business with the United States Government.
Serve as primary or secondary point of contact for customers
Acts as advisor regarding contractual requirements, risk mitigation, customer specifications and government regulations.
Responsible for all dimensions of life cycle contract administration to include but not limited to contract modifications, ensuring compliance with prime contract requirements, proposal preparation, and contract negotiation with existing or prospective customers
Reviews and advises management, program managers, and other internal clients on contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of contract terms and conditions
Monitors company performance for conformance to original proposal and maintains continual reviews to ensure contract terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations and advises leadership on appropriate activities to resolve performance difficulties
