MUST:
Dev Ops Engineer
1+ years of experience working on delivering and operating software as a DevOps Engineer, Operations Engineer or Software Engineer, or Cloud Engineer.
Experience with the AWS cloud computing environment
Experience with Programming languages, PHP, Python and shell scripts
Administration of LAMP stack environment – Linux, Apache, MySQL
Experience using/implementing CI/CD frameworks
Good understanding of micro services architecture.
Experience with performance monitoring and site reliability for a high traffic site
AWS Cloudwatch, NewRelic or related logging/monitoring tools
Unit, integration, and load testing tools
Willingness to be in an on-call rotation
Ability to summarize and communicate in English moderately complex information in varied written formats to internal and external customers.
Web application development experience with PHP and JavaScript framework preferred
Experience working in an Agile environment preferred
Experience with Docker or Linux container technologies preferred
Experience with high traffic production websites or services preferred
Experience developing and using web services /APIs. Preferred
AWS application infrastructure and horizontal scaling of web application infrastructure preferred
Infrastructure provisioning tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Vagrant, Packer, Terraform, Cloud Formation) preferred
Bachelors degree preferred in IT or other Technical Field

DUTIES:
Responsible for keeping the company's application stack updated
Create and enhance CI/CD pipelines, maintain Virtual Machine and Container Images, and various kinds of automation processes (build management, automated deployments, automated testing, and configuration management) in order to improve software deployments and system stability
Maintain uptime, performance, security, and stability of company applications, including:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure management
EC2 LAMP stack application server administration, monitoring, and tuning
RDS (MySQL) server administration, monitoring, and tuning
Elastic Search index health, data pipelines, nightly data migration tasks
Own and manage CI/build/deploy processes in a rapid-deployment/zero-downtime environment
Support Change and Configuration Management processes and repositories
Assist development teams with build jobs and overall build management troubleshooting
Design, implement, and maintain solutions that contribute to the automation of code/infrastructure changes, empowering development teams to have a seamless framework to deliver the best software
Provide project time estimates, constraints, and risks/liabilities
Manage AWS and related operational infrastructure costs, providing regular management updates on costs
