Business Management, Regulatory Risk and Control Reporting Consultant for Strategy and Planning

Financial institutions are required to provide timely, complete, and accurate responses to information requests, while retaining and disposing of information in compliance with legal, regulatory, and business requirements. Group Information and Records Management will, working with partners, deliver and assure the strategy, services, standards, and solutions necessary to achieve this Vision.

A Business Management, Regulatory Risk and Control Reporting Consultant is required to lead, measure and monitor the impact of improved Information and Records Management programs on Bank-wide risk and cost reductions.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide investment governance oversight for the annual CTB Planning process
  • Partner with Head of Change Management to ensure the portfolio is properly aligned to the division's strategy
  • Identify opportunities and drive delivery optimization across change portfolio
  • Partner with CFO to understand cost drivers and implications of Change execution decisions
  • Overseeing the formal "benefits realization” activities to measure and monitor the impact of improved Information and Records Management programs on Bank-wide risk and cost reduction
  • Work with program leads to establish, maintain and track key performance indicators (KPI) and metrics related to the overall initiative
  • Leading Records Management participation in larger CTO and COO cost optimization and business case activities and reporting
  • Develop investment governance structure to ensure ROI and Metrics are part of annual budget planning exercise
  • Increasing maturity of information management capabilities and services and foster strategic thinking, and thought leadership around ROI of such capabilities
  • Driving ROI communications, branding and collateral across bank-wide business and infrastructure functions

    Regulatory Risk & Control Reporting:
  • Coordinate responses and input from program leads for MI reports requested by Group Records Management
  • Work with regulatory program PMOs and conduct impact assessment on any new regulations and ensure the program leads are aware of any risks and issues with respect to regulatory deliverables
  • Monitor and review key performance and risk indicators and related controls on regular basis
  • Ensuring contents within regulatory reports are consistent and updated on regular basis
Skills/Experience
  • A strong experience of the qualities and capabilities needed to operate effective policy, controls, governance and risk management within a global organization
  • A good understanding of financial ROI models, organization design, business change and measuring effectiveness of major change programs is crucial.
  • Developing an innovative and effective culture of client service and client demand management
  • A strong understanding and practical use of financial governance and reporting in a major organization
Ability to manage teams and attract, retain and develop talent at all levels
