Business Analyst Finance Change Management Consultant
Seeking 2-consultants who as part of the finance change management team will support the reengineering for all major strategic and regulatory change related to the Global Markets, Asset Management, and Global Transaction Banking finance functions:
  • An experienced Business Analyst to deliver expert business analysis knowledge to the projects and programs the individual has been assigned to
  • A Business Analyst who is experienced with ensuring that the requirements of the business are properly identified, documented and implemented within a structured project and program environment, as well as to effectively support the changes required by the business.
  • Someone who will have responsibility for identifying and establishing business relations, to facilitate business decisions in the organisations best interest.
  • Must have at minimum intermediate business case and benefits modelling tools and methods

Business analysis: Focus on facilitating the identification, documentation, communication and commitment to business requirements.
  • To provide a bridge between the business and project organizations by facilitating the identification, documentation and quality assurance of business requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Supports the identification and development of business case documentation, including development of both tangible and non-tangible benefits models
  • Translates the benefits plan and business case into specific project objectives with the Support of the Project/Program Manager.
  • Facilitate the development of business requirements through discussions, workshops and interviews with business subject matter experts
Technical Recommendation and Testing:
  • Understands and can communicate the technical standards appropriate to the business requirements under investigation and advise on the suitability of proposed solutions
  • Understands technical design specifications
  • Defines test conditions
  • Develops accurate and complete user and business acceptance test plans
  • Conducts testing according to plan
  • Identifies and documents system deficiencies and recommends solutions.
Project Execution:
  • Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules
  • Reviews, assesses and advises on project changes especially where they impact agreed requirements, benefits or business cases

  • Experience working in projects as a business analyst or leading a business analyst group for Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
    • Management reporting
    • Forecasting & Budgeting
  • Strong Business Analysis skillset required
  • Understanding of IFRS and US GAAP
  • Experience working for a global, complex financial institution is a must
  • Skilled in requirements tracing, auditing and validation
  • High knowledge of business analysis, requirements engineering and structured analysis (ideally UML)
