Our client is a leading financial institution in JAX. They are in the midst of a major period of pre-planned growth and as a result of that expansion they are adding a Vice President of Operations to staff in their home office.

The Vice President of Operations is ultimately responsible for all functions related to ATM, ACH and process improvements for all areas of the organization enterprise wide. They will develop, communicate and execute the ATM, deposit product and services strategy to drive member experiences that exceed expectations, grow deposits and minimize loss. The incumbent is responsible for the strategy, planning, design and implementation of new products, services and solutions around emerging ATM, deposit technologies, services and electronic channels to position the organization as a leader, innovator and quick adapter. The incumbent will develop our vision and roadmaps for future development and implementation in these areas to modernize and continue to be extremely competitive. The incumbent will oversee and be responsible for the overall strategy and accountability for the operations and settlement of all check and ACH transactions, ATM portfolio management, business ownership of branch technology, and deposit portfolio and servicing.

This role is also responsible for managing the ATM portfolio to include, research, review, plan new deployment, and implementation of new ATM technology in order to balance service and expense while ensuring the organization's ATM network of over 200 ATMs that perform over 11 million transactions perform at optimal performance levels and has the latest technologies and functionality.

You will manage a large staff including five direct reports and thirty indirect reports. This is a wonderful opportunity to put your stamp on operations and make it shine.

REQUIREMENTS: 8+ years leadership experience in a financial institution managing a combination of operational departments to include ACH, check processing, ATMs and/or deposit product management. Demonstrated problem solving, analytical skills, project management skills are required. Experience with strategic planning for existing and future products and services. Ability and/or experience to evaluate trends to identify opportunities and solutions for deposit growth. Proven ability to effectively lead work teams to accomplish goals and strategies is required. Proficiency with Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project.
A college degree is required.
