Identity and Access Management Project Manager

Identity and Access Management (IAM) Project Manager
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead a technical project team in a major effort to modernize central identity management systems via the implementation of a modern IAM framework – a set of business processes, policies, data governance, and supporting technologies that enable appropriate and timely creation, maintenance, and use of digital identities
  • Collaborate on and monitor the activities of a variety of IAM-related projects and initiatives to ensure coordination of efforts, appropriate integration, and synchronization of key project timelines, product/service implementations, and system enhancements
  • Lead and manage team and individual efforts to analyze, document, and prioritize complex functional and technical requirements for the new IAM system components via a collaborative process of stakeholder/focus group engagement, data governance decisions, technical design reviews, steering committee oversight, and the coordination of various identity/access management project interdependencies
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IAM program plan and project plans for the implementation and configuration of new IAM system components, ERP data connectors, a data governance process, and a future operational staffing and support model
  • Devise and configure approaches for maintaining the identity and entitlements repository, capturing, organizing, viewing, and assigning appropriate entitlements to identities
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and significant IAM technical, architectural, and managerial experience in a complex environment; Master’s degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of IAM experience, including identity stores, provisioning/deprovisioning, authentication and authorization, SSO, privilege management, and group/attribute management
  • Experience with AD/LDAP and central identity repositories
  • Experience implementing vendor solutions for large-scale enterprise systems
  • Experience with data transformation and real-time integration strategies and technologies (ETL, web services, messaging)
  • Ability to work independently and to exercise sound judgement regarding project and task prioritization and phasing and corresponding project management approaches
  • Ability to move between strategic and tactical issues quickly
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to senior management, as well as peers, subordinates, and team members
  • Ability to quickly assess project issues and risks and to develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies
