Business Analyst
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of mapping rules and the data conversion requirements in order to understand how the existing data must be mapped into the new system
  • Coordinate and monitor data cleanup efforts and data extracts with stakeholders
  • Oversee the data conversion work performed during the phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Review deliverables applicable to the areas of responsibility in accordance with project plans and processes
  • Analyze mapping rules and validate these rules accurately
  • Write queries to analyze legacy data and determine correctness of rules, as well as the correctness of the converted data
  • Interpret application requirements and their impacts to the conversion process and mapping rules
  • Perform automated and online testing activities to ensure conversion is correct
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
  • Extensive experience performing data mapping and data cleansing
  • Business analysis experience to include data flow diagrams, requirements specifications, use case scenarios, and acceptance testing
  • Relational database experience, including writing queries using SQL Server
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience working with MS Office 2010 to include Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
