Technical duties, functions, and areas of expertise include:
Microsoft SCCM infrastructure and Windows-based systems engineer for the End User Services department to perform the following functions:
Microsoft System Center Configuration Manger (SCCM) system administration including troubleshooting, networking, system security, system integration, group policy management, and daily monitoring tasks as required
Performing routine upgrades and preventative SCCM maintenance for existing infrastructure, as well as responsibility for the performance/scalability/integration of additional SCCM servers as they are deployed to support the distributed environment;
Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS,) Microsoft Key Management Services (KMS and Providing server management, customer support, and timely maintenance and problem resolution of service delivery requests
Technical customer consultation for needs analysis, assessment, problem resolution and recommendations for computer hardware and software
Assist with monthly Windows Update deployment process to Windows servers and workstations within the organization via SCCM using Security best practices.
BIOS and UEFI conversion
Macintosh management via SCCM
Perform SCCM health checks and regular SCCM client health sustainment
Implementing and managing System Center End Point protection (Windows Defender)
Power Bi Reporting for SCCM
Windows 10 Upgrade readiness evaluation
Implement Credential Guard and Device Guard using SCCM
SCCM OSD customizations using MDT and troubleshooting OSD issues
Analyze SCCM log files, provide patch management support
IE and Edge Group Policy management and creation

5+ years (or more) of experience managing a large (35K nodes) SCCM environment
5+ years of experience in desktop OS engineering
5+ years infrastructure technologies, including aspects of designing, implementing and supporting systems at the engineering level
Provide in-depth knowledge and technical expertise in the areas of design, installation, maintenance, and support of multiple operating systems and technologies
Demonstrated ability to effectively install, configure and administer in a multi-system and/or multi-application environment
Working knowledge of Intune, mobile device management, mobile application management
Leverage Microsoft Intune for Administration of Microsoft Surface Hubs. Creation and deployment of custom policies for Surface Hubs
Working knowledge of Powershell, and device certificates
Basic understanding of LAN, WAN including firewall and VPN technologies
Firewall Basics (Inbound/Outbound, packet sniffer, IPS, rules)
Basic knowledge of Active Directory and networking concepts such as TCP/IP and other networking protocols and services: DNS, WINS, DHCP, Routing, MAC

Education, Certification and Knowledge Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other technical discipline highly desired
5+ years SCCM system administration, engineering, and subject matter expert experience
Microsoft certification (i.e., MCIT, MCSA, MCSE, etc.)
5+ years working knowledge of:
Windows registry, DHCP, DNS, Client, EMET, Active Directory, VLAN management, etc.
Supporting Microsoft Server/SCCM; Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager
Windows Administration
SQL-based application administration; create custom SCCM reports and SQL queries in SSRS.
Microsoft Powershell Module for SCCM and Windows administration
Networking technologies and protocols;
Microsoft Windows and IIS server administration;
Demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft Server/SCCM systems;
Demonstrated experience managing multiuser computer systems;
Active Directory process automation (VBS and PowerShell scripting); Active Directory Group policy administration;
Certificate Authority technologies and protocols;
Microsoft Key Management Services technology for Windows and Office;
Microsoft Advanced Group Policy Management Tool;
Security benchmarking, vulnerability scanning, and remediation technologies and procedures;
Working knowledge of common server based applications;
Experience with scripting technologies;
