RCM Technologies has an immediate needs for Technical Writers
This is a 40 hour week plus and is scheduled to complete at the end of June 2018.

Purpose:
The Technical Writer works closely with a team of Technical Writers and subject matter experts to create, edit, and maintain Section 508 compliant technical documents to include project-specific documents, client-specified documents, system lifecycle documents, and meeting minutes. This employee understands the use of Microsoft Word styles and is proficient with the use of Microsoft Word suite of products (i.e., Visio, PowerPoint, Excel.)
This employee has well-developed organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail, organizing material and completing writing assignments according to set standards with attention to priority, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology. This Technical Writer participates in peer reviews for co-writers as necessary, providing constructive comments and edits that improve the quality of the documentation as well as the quality of the process. This employee reviews existing documentation and recommends revisions or changes in scope, format, and content.
This Technical Writer creates, edits, and adheres to content and style templates, educating document owners on the importance of this adherence as necessary.

· Works independently with minimal supervision
· Works well in a team-oriented environment
· Adheres to approved processes and standards, suggesting improvements as applicable
· Works well in a fast-paced, delivery-date-driven environment
· Is willing to work additional hours to complete a project on time

This is an immediate need. Candidates will need to successfully complete a drug and background screen.

There are 2 positions, 1 in Columbia Maryland, the other in Tysons Corner VA
