The position is designed to assist with quality management activities within program. This involves quality improvement and quality assurance activities. Assisting in setting performance measures, measuring performance, working with field staff in administering QI/QA activities, and providing technical assistance to those staff are example of job activities. Assisting with grant reports related to QM activities and assisting with grant writing duties are also potential activities. Assisting with program planning activities and working with volunteer advisory groups is the third grouping of activities this position will be touching.

Full-time contract position to support quality management activities with specific focus on the Patient Care program's quality management activities for the Division of Disease Control and Health Protection, Bureau of Communicable Disease, HIV/AIDS Section.
The applicant must have, at a minimum, the following experience:
• Two years of experience providing training and/or technical assistance to grant recipients and other providers regarding Health Resources and Services Administration's (HRSA) program quality management guidelines.
Two years of experience working in quality management capacity building or providing quality management technical assistance provider to public or private sector programs.
Section 6: Contractor Responsibilities

6.1.2. Assist in the coordination and development of assessment tools and processes to be utilized during QM site reviews. Coordinate and assist in quarterly site visits and communicate findings to individual sites and assist sites in program improvement efforts as directed by the Department.
6.1.3. Write comprehensive reports that document outcomes of the reviews and sub-recipients' activities in quality management, detailing recommendations and findings as directed by the Department.
6.1.4. Assist in identifying service delivery indicators and outcome measures to evaluate effectiveness of applied standards. Assist in the development and implementation of surveys and other related evaluation tools as directed by the Department.
6.1.5. Develop and conduct technical assistance workshops, assess training needs, develop training materials and coordinate trainings to provide guidance and build capacity system-wide. Participate in planning discussion and efforts to help achieve the goals of the HIV/AIDS Section quality management activities as directed by the Department.
