 Job Title: LEAD SAP ABAP DEVELOPER
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration: 6 Month+ Contact
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • HCM and/or HR module knowledge and experience
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience as an ABAP developer
  • Minimum 2 years of significant SAP integration using Web Services / Web APIs
  • Experience with SAP's enhancement framework for modifying existing SAP applications
  • Experience in documentation of development objects
  • Design Scalable and efficient solutions to projects
  • Knowledge of SAP implementation methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical expertise to developers
  • Ability to transfer knowledge effectively to developers and Business process specialists through documentation and/or training
  • Experience with iCIMSs integration with SAP preferred, but not
Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead SAP HCM ABAP Developer for the HCM HRIS functional area
  • Perform as a technical resource in HCM HRIS functional area
  • Review and understand business requirements and convert technical specs
  • Responsible for creating/changing/leveraging existing ABAP components
  • Responsible for changing Webdynpro (ABAP and Java) applications
  • Experience integrating SAP with other applications creating and consuming Web APIs
  • Experience integrating SAP HR module with other SAP modules (FI, PA)
  • Lead complex solutions with minimal supervision and strong collaboration with management, project teams, and Senior Business Process Specialists, along with the ability to guide or mentor less senior IT staff
  • Developing and delivering SAP workflow-based solutions
  • Perform unit and integration testing
  • Analyze processes and identify solutions using best practices and industry standards
  • Defect resolution including debugging complex scenarios
  • Experience consuming RESTful Web Services/Web APIs and parsing JOSN using ABAP
  • Manifests a professional code of ethics and values
  • Ability to work as part of a team with staff or other departments
  • Status reports will be submitted by firm per an agreed upon schedule in a format designated by OCPS's project managers
