Pay Rate : $ 35.00 - 37.00 /Hour
   Inspects purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements using predetermined methods and in some cases may determine methods and sequences. Inspects for proper identity and dimensions using such measuring devices as micrometers, gauges, and calipers. Visually inspects for obvious defects or damage such as corrosion, cracks, dents, scratches, and pits. Verifies specifications using purchase orders, blueprints, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists. Makes pass/fail decisions on inspected goods. May improvise or adapt inspection and measuring devices as needed. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Maintains records of results.
Candidate will serve as a liaison to the hourly inspector for technical expertise and problem resolution. Individual shall build strong relationship with Receiving and Supplier Quality Engineering personnel and serve as the Receiving Quality P.O.C for supplier concerns at Receiving Inspection.

Mandatory Skills:
3+ years experience inspection and auditing skills in an operational mfg. setting

Basic Computer Skills - MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
SAP (COS / P2P) proficiency
Root Cause Analysis training, and EWI/SFM applications, Auditing and inspection experience. USAF AFSC 7/9Skill Level, "USMC MOS CDI experience, USN QAR
Strong communications skills - verbal/written
Interpersonal Skills work Independently Self Starter
