Manufacturing Lab Technician

HSI seeks a Pharma Lab Tech for a contract in Wilson, NC. Local candidates only. The job pays 10-13 an hr and no paid time off.  

Lab Technician; 0-2 years of experience, new grads are welcome to apply. Candidates should be familiar with GMP, QA and Pharma/Manufacturing:

Position will provide support to the solid dosage manufacturing operation by performing general washroom activities, general housekeeping, and material handling duties.

Requires High School diploma (or equivalent) and one year experience in a pharmaceutical, FDA regulated environment is preferred. Must have the ability to read and interpret safety rules and standard operating procedures; basic computer skills; the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks; and must be self - directed and detail oriented. Prior experience in solid-dosage manufacturing environment including prior experience in the operation of compression & granulation/blending process equipment a plus.

Summary of Work: 

1.     Responsible for all manufacturing support functions such as preparation of equipment and manufacturing components to be used in support of/or manufacturing of the product.
2.     Perform general washroom activities including cleaning, sanitation and preparation of equipment and materials needed in the manufacturing process. Equipment and parts could weigh up to 50 pounds. Also requires operation of industrial hose (water) and physical exertion (repetitive wiping, rubbing and scrubbing) to clean equipment and room surfaces.  
3.     Maintain good housekeeping in the facility including the use of mops, brooms, and emptying garbage. 
4.  Ensures supplies are delivered on time to provide uninterrupted production. Transport materials using manual and power assisted vehicles including manually pushing and pulling drums, totes, boxes, and pallets.
5.     Perform general housekeeping duties.
6.     Perform other related assignments and duties as required and assigned.
