HSI seeks at minimum two (2) SharePoint developers to fill the new position within the Information Technology (IT) Division. We reserve the right to hire the candidate(s) as an employee, at no additional cost, after a period of six (6) months. As part of our clients' IT Strategy, workforce collaboration and real-time content sharing are key focuses in enabling our clients workforce. As such, our clientS seeks to revamp its existing Intranet through the development of a central site collection providing capabilities that include an enterprise Wiki and a Blog. In addition, it seeks to develop the new content sharing platform to reduce its dependency on network file shares and create a content sharing experience that is both dynamic and self-documenting utilizing SharePoint On-line via Office 365.
The project will encompass establishing the governance structure of SharePoint On-Line, administration, configuration, and development of the main site collection and all sub-site templates. As part of the development of the main site collection, our client seeks to create subsites for the following: Compliance Division, HR Division, IT, and Enterprise Communication. In the creation of these subsites, the project will require the creation of the User Interface, identification and availability of all corresponding content, desired navigation, end user permissions, dashboards (where applicable) and content search capabilities within the sub-site and across sub-sites. The candidate(s) selected will be required to participate in User Story discussions, product backlog and sprint planning, and to work with our clients staff in the accomplishment of project deliverables, including training and knowledge transfer.

• Reduction of storage required for network file shares
• Easily organize, categorize, search, locate, retrieve, and communicate changes
• Improved collaboration
• Automate archiving, versioning, and auditing of records
The project development effort will be completed utilizing the Agile SCRUM Methodology and leveraging NYCERS resources including Business Analysts and application developers.
3 to 5 years of experience with administration, configuration, and development of SharePoint On-line.
Experience working with SharePoint document libraries, lists, custom views, apps, web parts, alerts, and search setup.
3 to 5 years of experience with developing enterprise social collaboration using Yammer and Skype for Business.
3 to 5 years development leveraging Agile SCRUM methodology.
Minimum of 5 years development experience with similar projects (type and complexity).
Good understanding of SharePoint single site administration, site collection administration, and web app administration.
Experience with security administration of SharePoint On-line.
Experience with SharePoint workflows beyond the out-of-the-box configurable ones (Designer or .NET code).
Experience with SharePoint On-line Designer.
In-depth knowledge in creating Event Receivers, Feature Receivers, Timer Jobs, Custom Workflows and work flow actions.
Hands-on experience in configuration of Site, List and Document Library-based solutions.
Experience changing SharePoint On-line master pages and layouts.
Demonstrated experience translating business requirements and processes into effective and simple SharePoint solutions.
Good presentation and communication skills.
Good interpersonal and collaboration skills, strong team working ability.
Integration experience with third party workflow tools Nintex or K2.
Hand on experience in content migration using tools like Sharegate and Metalogix.
Experienced in SharePoint and Mobile App integration.
Experience with developing scripts to automate standard tasks.
Experience with integrating with Tableau and other sources.
