E-commerce Java Technical Lead

This role will involve software development of key modules for The Company's e-Commerce platforms. Responsibilities for engineering will span all aspects of e-Commerce. You will contribute to the ecosystem's design and architecture, and be responsible for detailed design of full vertical modules within the e-Commerce platform. This role involves significant hands-on engineering. Developing large-scale systems using service-oriented architecture is a must as that will be part of your routine role.
 You have:
·         A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with relevant software development experience
·         Demonstrated proficiency with Java, groovy, or equivalent object-oriented programming language; or demonstrated ability to quickly learn new programming languages and tools
·         Object-oriented analysis and design skills
·         Problem solving and analytical abilities
·         Track record of strategic technical leadership
·         Ability to guide team through conceptual, high level and low level designs
·         Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment
·         Experience with java development frameworks including Spring (MVC), Hibernate (ORM), JMS
·         Proficiency with at least one modern web framework (Grails preferred)
·         Strong SQL / relational database programming skills (Oracle)
·         Experience with service-oriented architectures is preferred
·         Experience with cloud-based technologies and Software-as-a-Service (Saas) systems such as Amazon AWS is preferred
