Senior IT Project Analyst

The Senior IT Project Analyst role will be responsible for providing a range of advanced IT support services to colleagues at the North American Knowledge Center in Waltham (360+ Firm Members).

Job Description:
  • Provide application management and support for knowledge & analytics teams including new ventures and innovative solutions
  • Monitor service delivery and take steps to improve service where necessary, including assessment and installation/maintenance of servers; includes coordination with data center support operations
  • Provide support for VM sandbox environment and provide support and technical expertise for SQL server, VSphere, ArcGIS servers
  • Prepare, analyze and provide Office Leadership with IT metrics, financial reports and user satisfaction reports
  • Be an innovative thought partner with teams testing new ideas/solutions and to progress the office in new thinking on T&D services
  • Maintain the highest of security standards, cyber, infrastructure and physical security, following the Firm guidelines and in collaboration with the information security team
  • Manage user devices, laptops and mobile, including new hires and migration processes and schedules
  • Ensure the emphasis of IT support is focused on end user experience and productivity
  • Assist with Network Administration in addition to providing maintenance and support for all local office servers, including data backups
  • Provide second level hands-on support for all office infrastructure including laptop, printer, Telecom and LAN equipment
  • Manage and deliver the IT end user support service line. Provide second level end user support for the workstation image. Build laptops, re-image users, and support all computer software including MS Office, Lotus Notes, Outlook, and Windows OS
  • Provide onsite HD Video Conferencing and AV troubleshooting as needed
  • Maintain proper service ticket and asset management following Firm standards
  • Minimum 5 years relevant technical experience, ideally in a professional services environment
Required Skills:
  • Knowledge of standard IT applications across Windows, macOS and iOS, Server 2008/2012; enterprise software admin task
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex IT scenarios to a non-technical audience
  • Highly developed verbal and written communications in English
  • Strong problem-solving skills and tolerance for ambiguity
  • Ability to build a customer of ownership focused support culture
  • Expertise in exploiting the potential of IT applications to improve working practices and user efficiency
  • Linux + VMware is a plus
