HSI is Seeking a Full-Time Front End Developer for our Client in Stamford, CT. The Company's marketing team is looking for a business-minded technologist to contribute towards its growing portfolio of web initiatives. The Web Production group is tasked with working with our marketing and creative teams to bring ideas to life. We are seeking someone with strong front-end development experience, with an emphasis on implementing professional user interfaces for web based applications. This is an ideal position for IT professionals seeking a close working relationship with business, creative and operations teams. Candidate should be a highly motivated individual who thrives on the challenges of working in new environments with the latest technologies.

You will:
  • Deliver clean, attractive, and permanent website solutions that match or exceed user expectations
  • Develop new user-facing features that are sensible and easily navigated
  • Build and deploy A/B and multivariate marketing tests.
  • Optimize applications for scalable and responsive experiences
  • Deliver reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Enforce front-end code compliance for cross-browser and platform compatibility
  • Effectively communicate and develop relationships with technical and business teams across the organization

You have:
  • Bachelor's Degree - (preferably in Computer Science or Web Development
  • Proficient and passionate command of JavaScript frameworks
  • Strong command of HTML5, CSS, JQuery, AJAX, JSON
  • Knowledge of Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets
  • Mentor others on effective tooling, development, debugging and profiling techniques in the UI and web development ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of lightweight frameworks that provide more control over the HTML and CSS
  • Deep understanding of custom themes, overriding default styles, maintaining modularized CSS, SASS, and Post CSS
  • Thorough knowledge of development methodologies, techniques, standards, and the best practices
  • Design and implement moderately complex business/technical requirements including but not limited to; design, construction, system and integration testing, implementation, support, and maintenance.
