ServerCentral is seeking a Sales Executive dedicated to selling and growing our industry leading portfolio of enterprise cloud and infrastructure services: VMWare based Enterprise Public Cloud, VMWare and Hyper-V Dedicated Private Clouds, Colocation, and hybrid cloud solutions involving all of these offerings. This full-time position is being staffed in our Chicago loop office. The Sales Executive will work with our sales team and Vice President of Sales to bring in new clients and manage key growth accounts. Experience in at least two of these areas is a must: enterprise cloud services, SaaS, managed hosting, enterprise software sales, or data center infrastructure sales.What you'll be doing:
    • Conducting data center tours and customer presentations
    • Conducting demonstrations of our cloud solutions, a GUI based system (via face to face meetings, WebEx, trade shows, partner events, etc.)
    • Negotiating and subsequently issuing quotes, sales orders, and contract paperwork to customers
    • Working with Finance and Operations groups to complete customer orders and transition to provisioning
    • Managing and developing key channel relationships and go-to-market activities associated with our cloud services, including trade shows, industry events, and product launches.
    • Sourcing and generating leads by being an active participant in networking events, conventions, online groups, and other methods related to outside sales efforts
    • Demonstrating the ability to gather and submit detailed business information for pricing and presentation of solutions tailored to customer's business needs
    • Maintaining accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities in our Sales CRM system
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
    • Thorough understanding of the industry and how to best position products and services to customers
    • Very high capacity to manage high deal flow, rapid customer turn around, new technologies, and a dynamic selling environment
    • Good understanding of related ServerCentral infrastructure technologies: IP transit, managed services, colocation, and managed hosting
    • Solid knowledge of virtualization, storage, and load balancing
    • Keen interest and established knowledge of cloud computing services and the competitive landscape
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
    • The ability to prepare and deliver written proposals with polish and accuracy
    • In-depth knowledge of sales process including, pricing, and selling strategies
    • Effective time management, decision making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills
    • Proven success in outside hunting sales environments
