Our Technical Infrastructure teams design, build, and operate the software, hardware, computing platform, and networking technologies that power all of our client's services. As our operations continue to grow, it's becoming ever more important to automated our infrastructure for deploying and operating at scale. We have developed a portfolio of automation projects that span manufacturing, supply chain, and datacenter operations.

Overall Responsibilities:
  • You will work with our client's Datacenter Automation Systems team to install, test and maintain large scale automation systems in a lab.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
  1. Work with senior engineering staff to install, test, maintain automation systems, automated guided vehicles, material handling equipment and robotic work cell
  2. Test and validate systems to ensure they meet design standards. Document test plans and publish test results.
  3. Lab management - Set up and maintain lab space, tools, inventory and materials in a lab setting
  • Associate Degree in any field
  • 5+ years of experience working in a hardware environment for medium to large builds
  • 2-3 years of experience cable making including soldering, crimping and wire stripping, soldering, cable making, harness, use of oscilloscope, wire cutters, crimpers,
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and instrumentation diagrams
  • Experience with CAD design tools like AutoCad,Inventor, Solidworks, or ProE. Solidworks preferred.
  • Familiar with one programming language: matlab, C/C++, python, ladder logic, structured text, or function block
Nice to have
  • Experience in troubleshooting and debugging issues with automation hardware, electrical, and controls
  • Experience with basic tools (drills, screwdrivers, wrenches etc)
  • Experience with machine shop tools (Mill, lathe, Drill Press, ban saws, etc)
  • Technical certifications a plus (PLCs, Forklift operation, scissor lift operator)
