QA engineer who has:
  • Experience in creating and executing E2E test cases
  • Experience in looking at logs, debugging and identifying the root cause for an issue
  • Experience with Java, Selenium and TestNG and Rest api testing
  • Experience in writing db queries and creating data
  • CRM application testing experience is a Plus
  • Agile & Jira experience is must
  • Day to Day activities for QA engineers:
  • Will create, maintain and execute E2E test cases both manual and automated
  • Involve in bug triage, debugging and verify bug fixes
  • Collaborate and work efficiently with functional QA leads and other stake holders
  • Skills:
  • Work closely with onshore and offshore process analysts, development and quality engineering teams to define and create test cases, scripts, manage defects
  • Create and maintain end-to-end data setup plans for cross-system integration testing.
  • Ability to execute test plans according to the project plan
  • Communicate fluently and effectively with all level of business users, technical teams, and management across the organization
  • Help refine and lead the Quality Assurance process by collaborating with the overall quality engineering team
  • Work closely across functional teams to assure test coverage
  • Build & execute manual and automated test cases
  • Drive efficiencies in the QA process
  • Engage directly with users to triage problems and understand issues they may be experiencing
  • Organize status meetings and send Status Report to the E2E Testing Lead and stakeholders as needed.
  • Escalate the issues about project requirements to product, engineering and project team as appropriate.
  • Works with team to establish, maintain/improve and document consistent QE methodology/process and to resolve questions during the testing process.
  • Define and track metrics to monitor and improve quality of the rollouts.
  • Complete QE support during go-live activities related to releases.

Day to Day activities for QA engineers:

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 2-4 years of experience working in software quality Desktop testing experience; web and/or mobile testing experience a plus Experience executing test plans, filing bugs and working with engineering teams to resolve issues and verify fixes Ability to work independently Experience setting up and managing Mac and Windows desktop environments Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with bug tracking systems and the bug lifecycle Experience reading and editing test plans Experience with test case management systems, nice to have

Bachelor of Science preferably in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
5+ years experience in IT quality engineering supporting a large development organization
Experience in creating Test Strategy, test plan, test cases, scripts, manage defects.
Experience in executing functional, End to End and regression testing utilizing Agile/Scrum development methodology for frontend and backend functionalities
Should be able to work with cross functional teams
Experience in Quality assurance tools
Experience in coordinating different types of testing like Functional, Acceptance and Regression
Meet aggressive delivery timelines, coordinate well with remote teams, have the flexibility of working the time differences, and proactively solve problems
Participate in design review discussions within the team or other groups
Experience with web-based application testing using multiple browsers
Experience with test automation, preferably with frameworks such as TestNG and Selenium.
Experience with testing REST APIs
Experience using bug tracking tools and associated processes
Experience with testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and applications/services hosted in Azure is a plus
Experience with any CRM application testing & IVR is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
