Associate Non-Technical Project/Program Manager

At our client, the Associate Program Manager, Content Discovery on our client Learning, will manage projects, develop strategies, and drive execution on a variety of metadata, taxonomy, and curation initiatives to help members find the learning content they need.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage cross-library data-related initiatives such as updating/adding content metadata, including the our client Learning taxonomy. Write guidelines for tagging and coordinate the timely updating of data for our global library of 11k+ courses with Content team members and freelancers around the world.
  • Engage in qualitative and quantitative research (including SEO, user feedback, market research, Product and Content insights and data) to make recommendations for improving the our client Learning taxonomy and maximizing discoverability of our client Learning content.
  • Govern metadata use, reviewing tagging, giving feedback to the Content team, and ensuring corrections are made in all databases and content management systems.
  • Manage content curation projects, developing strategies and guidelines for consistent curation efforts across libraries and helping Content teams deliver freshly curated content on an ongoing basis.
  • Give feedback on algorithmic tagging of content with skills and other metadata to help improve tagging models.
Basic Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree or related work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A passion for education and a desire to champion member needs and drive for learner engagement.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience managing multiple projects in various stages of the product development cycle; strong organizational skills and excellent with deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience with taxonomy or metadata management.
  • Ability to logically and efficiently structure ambiguous problems, conduct complicated analysis, and identify key insights and recommended actions.
  • Excellent Excel skills and prior experience with databases and content management systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to present information effectively and persuasively; experience collaborating across continents is a plus.
  • Knowledge of our client Learning content areas (creative, business, and technology).
  • Willingness to work on a flexible schedule when needed for international meetings, particularly around morning meetings.
