Project Overview:
The University Relations team is responsible for maintaining positive relationships with universities around the world through targeted outreach and programs. Our focus is on enabling world-class research at academic institutions by:
-Investing in strategic research initiatives through our grants programs
-Supporting outstanding graduate students doing exceptional work in computer science, related disciplines, or promising research areas enabling a two-way interaction between academics and our client employees doing research

The role: University Relations Coordinator
Our team consists of program managers who lead complex, multidisciplinary projects, ushering projects through the entire lifecycle - managing schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it’s up to these program managers to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

The main priority of this role is to coordinate and process payments to universities and research institutes internationally and domestically.

Overall Responsibilities:
- Ensure scheduled payments are completed in a timely manner.
- Initiate the payment process set forth by our internal finance team and liaise with various universities on payment process
- Coordinate bulk payments and work with payments team to ensure payments are accurate and delivered on time
- Assist program managers in the development of various outreach programs, which includes coordination of event logistics, scheduling, preparing documentation, tracking, and reporting
- Will work closely with budget manager for University Relations.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Managing communications between funding recipients and internal payments team
- Creating purchase orders
- Updating and managing our payment tracker daily

Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree. (In lieu of degree, 2 years of equivalent work experience)
- 1-3 years of related working experience
- Ability to prioritize and multitask, and to positively contribute in a fast-paced and changing work environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; sense of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy
- Enthusiasm, team spirit and exceptional customer service focus
- High level of self-initiative, creativity, perseverance, and flexibility
- Strong organizational and project management skills; attention to detail
- Autonomy and responsiveness; ability to take initiative

Nice to have skills/Not required:
- Experience in university relations, finance or program/event management a plus
- Experience with payments and/or purchase orders is a plus
- Excel master
