Title : Tech Writer - Hardware

Group Overview:
our client is looking for a UX Writer/Content Strategist for its Hardware organization, which is responsible for creating, selling, and supporting the Pixel phone and other our client-branded hardware products and websites.

Top 5 Daily Responsibilities:
- Create and edit content for customer emails and websites that achieve business objectives and support the our client brand
- Collaborate with engineering, UX writers, designers, product or program managers, UX researchers, and marketing
- Advocate for users, and influence tone and implementation
- Focus on content strategies that increase usability through navigation, labels, informational writing, error messaging, toasts, customer emails, and other elements of the customer experience.
- Collaborate with compliance, engineering, product manager, localization teams and lawyers to develop content that addresses requirements for different countries

Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or a related field (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience)
- Experience working closely with engineering, design, and product management teams
- Experience developing clear and concise content for external non-technical audiences
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and cope well with frequently changing requirements
- Proven teamwork skills and flexibility

Nice to Have:
- 4 years of relevant experience in technical editing, UX writing, or communications
- Track record of researching and writing effective documentation and clear conversational, instructional, and UX content
- Ability to write in a range of styles and tones from technical to conversational prose
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with HTML and CSS
- Familiarity with user experience research principles and practices
