Engineering Program Manager - Enterprise, Pro, WWN (Works with Nest) Portals

Project Overview:
We are looking for a world-class technical Engineering Program Manager (EPM) for our Pro and Enterprise Portal team. You are the cross-functional leader working with eCommerce teams to drive the releases of world-class B2B portals for our Pro and Enterprise partners.

You are responsible for managing the engineering release schedules and roadmap, collaborating closely with cross functional stakeholders. You own the day-to-day release process for multiple products. This means that you're detail-oriented and able to understand the bigger picture. You'll use your technical expertise and sharp problem solving abilities to troubleshoot and prioritize blocking issues. You'll also clearly communicate your team's recommendations and the technical trade-offs in the release process to engineers, QA, and product leads across Nest.

Overall Responsibilities:
  • Communicate schedules, priorities and status to all levels in the company.
  • Design and implement processes that scale
  • Interface with EPM's across Nest to identify dependencies and align on priorities and schedules
  • Identify areas of improvement in our releases, and our processes; define the problem, work with others on the solution, and scale the company's global release process.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
  1. Manage entire release cycle and process for Nest's WWN, Pro, and Enterprise portals
  2. Work closely with Product Owners, Engineers, QA, Tech Ops, both locally and remotely, to resolve blocking issues, and keep our release pipelines moving quickly with quality
  3. Develop reports to track planning, scheduling, issues, risks, and overall status.
Required Skills:
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science
  • 5 years of equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of release management, test engineering, release engineering, or SWE(Software Engineers) /SET (Software Testing) /SRE (Software Release Engineering) background.
  • 4 years of experience with technical concepts (i.e., software engineering, and/or specific software release related issues).
  • 4 years of experience managing multiple, time sensitive projects simultaneously.
  • 4 years of experience with Agile development methodologies
