Project Overview:
The Facilities Coordinator is expected to successfully execute on various day to day operational activities for Nest's Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) department. This coordinator will support on demand work management, develop and update REWS request and services processes, execute on facilities management, and handle tactical space assignments .
We expect Nest products to be simple, useful, and delightful at scale, and the same is true for our workplace services. This individual will be expected to provide workplace support to employees at Nest.

Overall Responsibilities:
  • Performing operational duties required to keep requests running without error or negative impact
  • Providing personal support to Nesters needing assistance
  • Highly comfortable developing and supporting processes
  • Leveraging systems and technical abilities to automate tasks
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
  1. Tactical space management
  2. Services oversight including requests and support to current programs including: transportation, cafe, reception, and offices
  3. Escalate services and vendor issues to management when appropriate
Required Skills:
  • BA/BS degree in any field of study
  • 2+ years of experience in a combination of coordination support and facilities work
  • Experience with facilities management principles or facilities program operations

  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to take on tasks with minimal direction, detail-oriented problem solver with a burning desire to contribute to the organization's reputation and success

  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, organization, and detail oriented skills
  • Exceptional customer service focus, including attention to producing quality results while building positive relationships
  • Proficient in using productivity applications such as our client Docs, Calendar, and gMail or similar software
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
  • Proven experience with process/program improvement. Successful process or service change implementation.
