(Possible domestic travel - 15%)

Project Overview:
Support the development of bots on the Hangouts Chat platform

Overall Responsibilities:
  • Guides partner through technical best practices
  • Provide technical Support for partners
  • Build technical expertise in the following:
  • Working with OAuth and HTTP/REST APIs
  • Help ISVs with publishing & GSM approval process
  • Assist with internal hackathon
  • Maintain confidentiality for unlaunched products
  • Regularly communicate partner progress, blockers, and successes
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
  1. Get partners up and running on the product and give them documentation
  2. Field any open questions that arise from partners during development
  3. Keep track of and organize feature requests and bugs for the Hangouts Chat Platform
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Potentially handle light project management for partner integrations
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 3-5+ years relevant working experience
  • 3+ years of experience programming with JavaScript, Python and Java
  • Web application development experience
  • Familiarity with OAuth and HTTP/REST APIs
Nice to Have Skills/Not Required:
  • Fast learner and able to get up-to-speed on new technologies quickly
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively
  • Good organizational skills & ability to multitask, be able to work on multiple projects with different customers simultaneously
  • Must have a strong sense of responsibility, love to troubleshoot challenging coding issues, and have excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with using G Suite applications (Gmail, our client Drive, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
  • Familiarity with coding our client REST APIs and OAuth2 authorization
