Front End Developer
Front End Engineering is responsible for the rich experience of client live event platform. Working alongside our Product and Design teams, we strive to deliver a user experience that sets a new gold standard for live event management. With Agile methodology, we deliver business impact every sprint. You'll be working with Ember.js, building new applications and refactoring existing Java/Grails applications to this modern platform. You'll be part of a team that manages the full life cycle of a product; from design to production feedback and on call support.
Responsibilities
  • Represent Front End development standards and best practices as part of a cross-functional scrum team
  • Use your javascript skills to turn delightful customer experiences into applications using the latest standards and frameworks
  • Champion the client brand by maintaining high visual standards across all applications
  • Ensure accessibility of our products
  • Uphold security best practices at all times
  • Create and employ tools to make development easier, faster and safer for your peers
  • Participate in peer code reviews
  • Maximize availability and maintain the quality of your products by creating robust test suites for unit, integration and functional tests
  • Support the products you build by monitoring and measuring application performance in production
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of Front End Engineering experience
  • Expert knowledge of ES6, HTML5, CSS3
  • Production experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Ember, Angular or React
  • Knowledge of Accessibility standards
  • Understanding of security concerns for the web
  • Experience working on an Agile team in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience with collaborative source control workflows
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment with a team that ships code to production often
  • Experience with web analytics tools, performance tuning and browser compatibility differences
  • Experience implementing responsive design
